Get On Board
If you are new to the world of Skiing and Snowboarding, want to learn, but aren’t sure where to start – well, you’ve come to the right place.
With the Get On Board pass you will receive a punch pass good for three lessons that include lift tickets for only $250. Once you’ve completed your three lessons you may redeem your punch pass for a Season Pass!*
*this packages is available to first time skiers or snowboarders ages eight and older as a one time purchase only.
Why Three Lessons?
Typically three is the magic number when it comes to learning to ski or snowboard.
In your first lesson you will learn about the equipment; how it should fit and feel, how to put it on correctly, and how to use it once it’s strapped to your feet. You will learn the very basics; turning in control in one direction, then the other. You will learn how to glide and safely come to a stop. These are the nuts and bolts for safely getting on and off the lift. Our instructors won’t take you on the lift until they feel you’re ready. You’ll also learn the basics that are the foundation for your next two lessons.
During your next lesson you will learn the fundamentals of linking turns, controlling your speed, on hill safety and mastering the chair lift. Your final lesson is geared toward polishing up the skills you’ve just learned; from staying in control when venturing into steeper terrain, tightening up the turns, and increasing your comfort level as you ride.
Ultimately, the goal is to get you to a level of skiing/snowboarding independently with confidence while having fun, turning and being safe. We hope with the Get On Board pass that you discover a lifelong passion for Snowsports!
